Art and Historic Homes  Exibits Lemon Twist, held in conjunction with the Lemonade Art Fair on Thursday, June 25th (10 AM – 4 PM), is the initial launch of an annual event partnership between the St. Cloud State University School of the Arts, South Side University Neighborhood Association and Visual Arts Minnesota.
Twenty artists will be selected to display and sell their work at 5 historic home locations. (around 2 pieces each depending on space in 5 historic homes, there will be around 4 artists at each location. Visual Arts Minnesota has portable walls and pedestals to be utilized for this event).
We ask that artists have all work for sale and that they be present for most of the time to meet with visitors and represent their work. -There is a fee of $10 to apply. -All mediums accepted. -All artwork must be ready to hang (wired if framed). Workshop on Watercolor Batik by Carol Spohn To be held on August 22, 2015 at Watab Hall.  Here’s an opportunity to expand your choices for creativity.   All materials provided; no prior experience necessary.  Invite your friends for a fun day learning this creative approach to painting.  Cost: $40 CMW members; $50 others.  Coffee and water provided.  Bring your own lunch.

Congratulations to Linda Addicott who sold 4 paintings at her show in Whitney.   In addition, CMW members to be congratulated are Linda Addicott, Elly Van Diest, and Cheryl Running who will be teaching watercolor to residents at area nursing homes/assisted living homes in the month of June.  This is being sponsored and coordinated by Jane Oxton, Art A LaCarte which is an effort to reach out and bring arts to the community.
