When we moved to Minnesota in 1969 I was taken with immense amount of wildlife and scenery I had never experienced before. Upon retiring, I began to paint watercolors again for the first time in 40 years. The beauty of my transplanted home continues to inspire me.
I usually find subjects from nature and have just begun to explore more abstract techniques and materials. Currently I am experimenting with metal foils and trying to paint more loosely. I continue to enjoy the out doors for its inspiration and variety through painting and gardening.
