Claudia Forsberg is a long time painter and potter who loves to share her gifts.  Claudia was born and lived on the island of Madagascar for 18 years.  She reveals the beauty of the island's species in many of her works of art.  Her favorite mediums are watercolor painting and clay. She graduated with a degree in Art and Elementary Education from Augsburg University, Minneapolis, MN.  She later received her Master's Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas.

 

She enjoyed teaching in Big Lake Schools K-12, for 39 years. Claudia is now retired and lives in St. Joseph with her husband. She is excited about being a part of the Central Minnesota Watercolorists. Claudia is interested in being an active member and looks forward to growing through workshops and retreats.
